“What?” Marge was taken aback. She was so shocked that her expression froze. She asked, “Ariana, what happened? Are you feeling sick or something? I… I’ve already submitted the list. And the broadcast is about to start. I don’t have time to find a replacement now.”
There was an apparent trace of nervousness in Marge’s voice. Ariana felt that Marge would cry if she rejected her request.
